Our commitment
Service Track is a marketplace that brings a mobile mechanic out to a car where it is parked, across Concordville and the rest of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. We are committed to ensuring that this site can be used by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, magnification, speech recognition, a keyboard alone, or with settings that alter contrast, text size or motion. Accessibility is treated as a requirement of the service, not as an optional enhancement to it.
Standard applied
This site is designed and maintained to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by accessibility legislation and regulators internationally. Conformance at that level also satisfies the earlier version 2.1 at Level AA, which many regulations continue to cite. The standard is applied to every visitor, in every jurisdiction, without exception.
Our goals
This site is built and maintained by Kaizant. Kaizant's stated goal is for the sites it builds to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA at all times, effective immediately, and to comply with all applicable accessibility laws. Where this site does not yet meet that level, bringing it into line is an immediate priority.
Looking further ahead, Kaizant's goal is to bring its sites to WCAG 2.2 at Level AAA, including sign language interpretation of recorded media, and it is working towards that with the help of automated tools. Level AAA is not yet implemented on this site, and meeting it is not guaranteed.
This section describes goals and is provided for information only. It is not a claim that the site conforms to any standard, does not form part of any agreement, and does not affect any rights you have under the law.
Conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that parts of the content do not yet conform to the standard in full. The provisions already in place are set out below, followed by the limitations that remain outstanding. No claim of conformance is made in respect of any area that has not been assessed.
Accessibility provisions
The following are available to you on every page of this site:
- Accessibility settings, opened from the accessibility control in the lower corner of any page, which allow you to enlarge or reduce the text, increase contrast, reduce motion, and underline links. The text may be enlarged as far as you require; there is no maximum size. Your selections take effect immediately, apply across the site, require no account, and are retained in your browser for subsequent visits.
- Landmarks identifying the navigation and the main content, and named landmarks for the breadcrumb trail, the view controls and the record listings, so that assistive technology can move between them.
- Errors that are conveyed in text beside the field they belong to and announced to assistive technology as errors rather than left to be noticed.
- Control over motion. Moving imagery can be stopped, and does not begin of its own accord where your device or your display settings request reduced motion.
- Text that responds to the text size configured in your browser or operating system, in addition to the settings offered here.
- Colour combinations that meet or exceed the contrast ratios required at Level AA, verified automatically on every build.
Known limitations
The areas below are known not to meet the standard in full. They are recorded here so that you are not left to encounter them unannounced, and each is scheduled for remediation. Where a limitation prevents you from completing something, we will complete it with you by another means on request:
- The map. Map markers can be operated with a pointer but are not yet fully operable by keyboard. The same addresses are available as text on the pages that list them.
- The parking outline on a vehicle's pin page, which is placed and rotated by dragging and has no keyboard equivalent yet.
- The calendar and the photograph carousel, which are not yet fully operable by keyboard alone.
- The focus indicator. Several controls draw one and the rest fall back to whatever the browser draws, which on some surfaces is faint. A single indicator across every link, button and form control is outstanding.
- A skip link, allowing the navigation to be passed over on the way to the main content, is not yet present.
- The larger tables in the administrative area, whose column headers are not yet announced together with their cells.
- Content within individual pages. The framework common to every page has been assessed; assessment of the content inside those pages is ongoing.
